Hello, I can't believe it's October already, time is flying and I have some lovely new gem set pieces nearing completion that will be ready for my upcoming shows. The next one is the Festival of Crafts at Farham Maltings on the 26th and 27th October. This is my first time there so if you are around come and say hello, it would be lovely to meet you.
As you'll know if you saw my last newsletter I recently had my first shoot with a model and I am so pleased with how it went. It's so helpful when buying jewellery online to see images of the pieces being worn and I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I finally had the budget and went for it and I would love to share some of the photos with you.
Seeng pieces on a model helps to give you an idea of scale that can be hard to understand in a product shot, you can see how the shape of a stone works on the hand or how a pendant or earring hangs. I hope you love the photos as much as I do!
