I hope everyone had a great break, we had a really relaxing holiday (though it feels like it was a long time ago now!) lovely as it was, I am very happy to be back at my bench. I have started work on my first commission of the year (very exciting) and I would like to share with you my last commission of 2019 which was a very special and meaningful piece for me to make.
This pendant was commissioned by my partner for his mother's 70th birthday, The two diamonds and the blue sapphire are the birth stones of our three children and the aquamarine is for our niece. I'm so happy with how it turned out and it looked amazing when she put it on. It's all the more meaningful as one of the diamonds is for my son's twin brother who died a few days after they were born, very prematurely. It's such a beautiful way to remember him; the teardrop shape is symbolic of both sadness and joy so it's perfect for this pendant. I'm planning a smaller version for myself and can make these to commission with the stones of your choice.
If you would like to commission me to make one of these personalised with your special stones please do get in touch, I'm always happy to chat with you about your ideas.
